Today I mailed off a very important form--the I-600A--Application for Advance Processing of Orphan Petition. Copies of birth certificates, marriage license, money order for $830 and lots of forms were Expressed Mailed-overnight to the Houston office of U.S.CI.S.--Citizenship and Immigration office. Included with this form is a Biometric Services request. Basically, Tulio and I have to be fingerprinted with Homeland Security. This form takes a while to process and we have to wait for an appointment to be fingerprinted. Please pray that this step is quick! In a separate package, I mailed all of the agency agreement forms and first payment today. We will be assigned an Ethiopian family coordinator soon.
